The Summit School encourages all students, grades 6-8 to participate in its interscholastic sports program. By choosing to participate, student-athletes demonstrate their commitment to attend practices as well as games, and to strive to be the best they can be in their own chosen sport(s), as well as to develop good sportsmanship. Coaches assist the student athletes in the development of their athletic skills, as well as serving as a role model for fostering a climate of good sportsmanship, fair play and a sense of community.
The program’s main goal is to teach students the fundamental skills in an environment that allows students to enjoy competitive sports.
The Summit School offers a full array of sports throughout the school year for students in grades 6-8.
