What does it mean to differentiate instruction? Participants will learn strategies for equitable practices in the classroom and experience activities that are modified for different kindergarten through eighth grade learners. A video clip from Carol Ann Tomlinson, the author of Leading and Managing a Differentiated Classroom, will identify the five components for differentiating mathematics instruction and workshop activities will provide specific ideas for implementing these components.
