Differentiating Instruction in the Mathematics Classroom
March 3 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm
What does it mean to differentiate instruction? Participants will learn strategies for equitable practices in the classroom and experience activities that are modified for different Kindergarten through eighth-grade learners. A video-clip from Carol Ann Tomlinson, the author of Leading and Managing a Differentiated Classroom, will identify the five components for differentiating mathematics instruction and workshop activities will provide specific ideas for how to implement these components.
