Community Talk – Managing Screen Time and Digital Media for Today’s Youth

MANAGING SCREEN TIME AND DIGITAL MEDIA FOR TODAY’S YOUTH

This Talk is being presented in partnership with Thinking Tree Psychology.

The use of digital media is integrated into the everyday lives of children and adolescents. Parents, educators, and other interested professionals will gain an understanding of potential digital media benefits and risks as identified by research, particularly related to overall social and emotional health and academic functioning. Evidence-based guidelines for promoting appropriate digital media usage at home and school will also be presented.
