The Summit School, located eight miles south of Annapolis, is a private school for bright children in grades 1-8 with learning differences, such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and executive function challenges. Summit offers small class sizes and individualized instruction in an ideal setting.
Music Teacher, PT: Degree in music education and Maryland teaching certificate in music (or eligibility for MD certification in music) required to teach general music/performing arts to grades 1-5. Includes Arts Integration with classroom teachers and collaborative work with staff on assemblies, performances and productions. Experience with Orff method of instruction a plus. Interest in serving bright children with learning differences a must. Collegial & supportive, small class sizes. Ideal setting, 8 miles south of Annapolis.
