Welcome!
The Summit School depends on charitable gifts to sustain our educational programs and strengthen our financial resources. Summit is a 501 © (3) not-for-profit school. The School is grateful for your interest in supporting the School’s educational programs as well as our mission of serving bright students with dyslexia and other learning differences. Financial support along with gifts of time will make a difference in the lives of the students and will be an investment that will last forever.
Tuition and our Annual Fund cover our operating costs to assure that Summit continues to offer its first-class education for a unique learner. Fundraising is essential to help our program stay cutting edge; to grow in the area of technology, to offer teacher training from known experts, and to maintain a student/staff ratio overall of 4:1. Donors contribute to the Annual Fund, Endowment and several special initiatives.

Stocks and Securities
Appreciated securities are an excellent asset in making a charitable gift to Summit. Your stock broker can have your gift transferred to Summit’s account. It is important to notify the Development Office as to the name of the stock, the number of shares being donated, the date of the gift and its purpose. Once the transfer has been made, you will receive a receipt from Summit indicating the amount of the tax-deduction you can claim. All donors should confer with their tax advisors before making a gift to inquire as to tax deductibility and treatment. To execute a stock transfer, visit Stock Gift Information.
Employer Matching Gift Programs
Donors who work for companies that have matching gift programs may be able to double or even triple their contributions to The Summit School. If your employer has a matching gift program, you must include your company’s matching gift form along with your contribution. The development office will complete the form and return it to your employer. If you are not certain whether your employer will match your gift to Summit, please contact your human resources office.

Breakfast with the Directors
We bring new friends to the school to learn about our program and how we teach. Guests from the business community have the opportunity to observe a class for 15 minutes. They also get to see first hand the magic our teachers create to provide a unique learning environment for our bright students. In a two year period, nearly 200 people have attended our business breakfasts.
