Edgewater, MD (February 12, 2016) – The Summit School’s 2016 Summer Camps are now open for
registration! This year, The Summit School offers a variety of educational and fun summer camps for
children in grades one through nine.
Camp Summit will run from July 5-29 (8:30am – 3:00 pm with the option of after-care and transportation).
This popular camp offers a nurturing environment where students build self-confidence and get the
academic boost they need for back-to-school success! Campers avoid summer learning loss while having
fun and making new friends!
Energy in Motion! specialty camps include Archery, Robotics, and S.T.E.A.M. camps and will run from June
27 – July 1. Campers can choose between Archery and Robotics for their morning, and can enroll in an
afternoon of S.T.E.A.M. fun!
Executive Skills and EmPOWER Writing Skills courses are offered for students in rising 7th, 8th and 9th grade
and will run from July 11-15. Students will learn key organizational skills, study skills, and how to
